Book online before visiting the Public Gallery at St John's Island
Update on 3 Jan 2021: To allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the displays whilst maintaining a comfortable social distance, entry into the Sisters’ Islands Marine Park Public Gallery on St John’s Island is via online booking only.
The maximum number of visitors is capped at 20 pax per session and visits will be limited to 30 minutes. Book a slot to visit the gallery here.

St John’s Island Trail and Marine Park Centre closed until further notice
From the NParks website: As the access route to Marine Park Outreach and Education Centre and St John’s Island Trail is affected by SLA’s maintenance and repair works, the Marine Park Outreach and Education Centre and St John’s Island Trail are closed until further notice.

Updated notice on the NParks website: "The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) had closed part of St John's Island from now till the end of the year arising from the asbestos found in the campsite area. As investigations and works to remove the asbestos are ongoing, the St John's Island trail and the Marine Park Outreach and Education Centre and St John’s Island Trail will be closed until further notice. We seek your understanding for the inconvenience caused."

15-18 Feb 2018: Change in Public Gallery opening hours for Chinese New Year
If you are planning to visit the Sisters’ Islands Marine Park Public Gallery on St John’s Island, do note that it is only open from 10am to 11.30am on 15 Feb (Thu) and is closed from 16 to 18 Feb (Fri-Sun).
The Marine Park Public Gallery will reopen on 19 Feb (Mon) with the usual opening hours.

- 10am to 2.30pm on weekdays;
- 10am to 3.30pm on Saturdays; and
- 10am to 5.30pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Spectacular September at the Sisters Islands Marine Park
On 2 Sep, Minister Desmond Lee launched the free volunteer guided walk at St. John's Island, which is part of the Sisters' Island Marine Park and hosts the Marine Park Public Gallery.
The Public Gallery now has many additional features, including a mangrove display and a huge touch pool. Volunteers also continued to bring the public on intertidal guided walks at Big Sisters Islands. And more happenings...

Sisters Islands Marine Park land access closed 16 Dec 2015 - 1 Apr 2016
As the floating pontoons at the jetties of both Sisters’ Islands will be removed for inspection and maintenance. So land access is temporarily unavailable.
But don't fret, you can still visit the Sisters’ Islands Marine Park Public Gallery on St John’s Island!

Public Gallery closure in Oct/Nov 2015 during the Kusu Island Pilgrimage season
From the NParks website: "The Sisters’ Islands Marine Park Public Gallery on St John’s Island will be closed during the weekends on 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31 October as well as 1, 7 and 8 November, as the daily scheduled ferry services to St John’s Island will be temporarily stopped during the Kusu Pilgrimage season (13 October to 11 November 2015). Please visit us on weekdays during this period or on weekends from 14 November onwards.”
If you would like to visit the Public Gallery on a weekday during this period (13 Oct-11 Nov), you will need to charter your own boat as the public ferry is suspended.
If you are departing from Marina South Pier, expect a parking crunch and boarding delays during this period. More details about the Kusu Pilgrimage season impacts on the wild shores of singapore blog.

Jubilee Jubilations at the Sisters Islands Marine Park
Despite the wet weather, happy happenings continued at the Marine Park!
In Jubilee August, there were trials of the newly launched dive trail at the Marine Park, lots of visitors to the newly opened Public Gallery, and more public walks. Thanks to the volunteers and NParks officers who made these possible.

Launch of the Sisters' Islands Marine Park Public Gallery
Hurray! Today we launch the Sisters Islands Marine Park Public Gallery. This is located at the St. John's Island Marine Lab of the Tropical Marine Science Institute.
NParks, TMSI, volunteers of the Sisters Islands Marine Park were gathered this morning for the VIPS who came to launch the Public Gallery.
