October happenings at the Sisters Islands Marine Park
We enjoy sunset intertidal tours of Big Sisters Island as low tides have switched to the evening.
The Marine Park gets global attention as Victor Tang's awesome film "Birth of a Marine Park" gets honourable mention at the BLUE Ocean Film Festival and Conservation Summit in Florida. And a recent update on the mass coral bleaching situation from the scientists.

Happy National Day from the Sisters' Islands Marine Park!
This National Day, enthusiastic visitors, volunteers and NParks staff gathered to celebrate at Singapore's first marine park! Divers at the Marine Park also celebrated with wild dolphins!
Alas, the Marine Park (and other Singapore reefs) continue to suffer from global mass coral bleaching.

Sisters' Islands Marine Park: walks resume in the midst of mass coral bleaching
In May, NParks unveiled more plans for conservation at the Marine Park. The pontoons are back at the Marine Park allowing volunteer guides to start intertidal guided walks in May and June! And stamps were also issued featuring the Sisters' Island legend.
Alas, Singapore's reefs were also hit by global mass coral bleaching. The Marine Park was not spared.
